Designation of responsibility |
Designation of responsibility means assigning an official of the organization with the responsibility and accountability for implementation of the AAP.

Disparate Impact |
Disparate Impact (adverse Impact) occurs when the employer’s apparently neutral employment practices have a significantly disparate (adverse) impact on a protected group and the employer has not shown the practice to be job—related or consistent with business necessity.

Disparate treatment |
Disparate treatment occurs when the employer intentionally treats some individual(s) less favorably than others because of their race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, veteran or disabled status.
